Today is Easter, the day we set aside to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. To kids, it's a day to hunt eggs and get candy. Until they're big enough to understand, I will continue to hide eggs and buy candy. I think I kind of burnt them out on hunting eggs though. Before they went home, they didn't want to look for eggs anymore. But it was fun while it lasted. When I got up this morning, I couldn't find my phone. Doug said it was a day for hunting things, and I would have to find it. He had hidden it on top of the shift robe. And I found something outside besides and Easter egg. I was sitting on the porch where there is a flower box with no flowers in it, but it still has the dirt. Here is what I found:

It's still there. I think it must be laying eggs in the dirt. I didn't bother it, I hope it's alive. It doesn't look dead. Here's a few pictures of egg hunt:

Sorry, but I don't know how to make the pictures smaller. I used to but I forgot. Anyway, Billy and Shelly had to pose for a couple of pictures, so here they are:

I don't know why I didn't get more pictures of Nicholas. Normally, I get a bunch of him.
So that has been my day so far apart from going to church, which I'm getting ready to go back for the evening service. So maybe I'll be able to post more later (hopefully something more interesting). Have a very happy Easter!
Okay, after going through my pictures, I found that I had made more pictures of Nicholas. So I'll try to update now. Here's Nick finding eggs:

Here's Nic with all his eggs:

And just hanging out:

Here he is with the neighborhood cat, Peanut Butter:

And the frog IS alive. He's still in the flower pot but has turned around but still has his butt in the dirt:

So maybe we'll be having baby frogs soon! How cute!!!
